Jenifer Kurz

Jenifer is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been practicing in North County
San Diego for a little over ten years. Before that, she worked alongside social workers in the
slums of the Mathare Valley for a Kenyan NGO and offered counseling to the ex-pat community of Nairobi, Kenya. 

She has extensive training in attachment and works with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate trauma and the resulting woundedness. She is trained in Emotion Focused therapy, attachment theory and is a certified Grief Counselor. 

She is a long-standing member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage Family Therapists). As well as partnering with Luma Health, Jenifer also has a private practice in Solana Beach where she specializes in couple’s therapy and offers individualized Couple’s Intensives designed for a couple’s specific needs and goals.
